黃色小鴨－高雄 臺灣首站
歷經與藝術家Florentijn Hofman數月的信件溝通及多次碰面，終於成功將黃色小鴨帶來臺灣高雄，不僅成為臺灣巡迴的第一站，也一圓讓臺灣人能看見小鴨、大型公共藝術的夢想。
左腦結合臺灣的在地團隊，從鴨皮製作、大型浮台設計、海流風向計算與水下固定作業等各種專業，在1個月的時間內，聯手完成展出，打造為亞洲最大、世界第二的18公尺黃色小鴨，也是亞洲唯一沒有破掉的喔！
The First Stop of Rubber Duck in Taiwan
After months of correspondence and meetings with artist Florentijn Hofman, the Rubber Duck visits Kaohsiung, Taiwan at last! While being the first stop of the Rubber Duck’s tour in Taiwan, it is also a place to realize Taiwanese people’s dream to see the Duck and the large public artwork.
LeftBrain collaborated with the local teams in Taiwan with various expertise of duck skin manufacturing, large floating platform design, calculation of currents and wind directions, as well as underwater fixation operation. Within a month, we pulled it off for the perfect showcase of the Rubber Duck, making the Rubber Duck in Kaohsiung the largest in Asia and the second largest in the world with a height of 18 meters. It is also the only Rubber Duck in Asian remains intact in one piece!
